How we do it
- 1Inside first: pockets are emptied, the lining vacuumed and spot cleaned, and anything we find is returned in a separate pouch.
- 2Leather is cleaned with a pH-neutral product and conditioned; fabric is washed or wet cleaned depending on the lining.
- 3Metal hardware is polished lightly, not abrasively, so plating is not worn through.
- 4Bags are dried in shape with paper stuffing and returned in a dust bag where we have one.

- Empty every pocket; anything we find comes back in a pouch.
- Say the brand and the material so we pick the right cleaner.
- Point out ink or a stubborn mark on the lining.

Can you remove ink from a lining?
Usually fresh ink yes, old ink partly. We tell you after a look what is realistic.
Do you clean designer bags?
Yes, by hand and with care, but we are not an authorised service centre for any brand. Say the brand on WhatsApp so we can advise.
Will the colour change?
Cleaning can lift a little surface dye on very old leather; conditioning evens it out. If we think a bag is at risk we say so before starting.
